For years I’ve toyed with the idea of starting a food blog. It seemed like the natural thing to do…. I love food, and writing, so why not? It always appealed to me as a great side project to get the creative juices flowing when my job might not allow such freedom. But then life would get in the way. Or I would procrastinate. Or get scared about the idea of being held to accountable to others reading the blog. What if my recipes weren’t good enough? Or if I forgot to take pictures of my food (which happens far too often despite my Asian heritage).
But lately, I’ve been spending more time exploring all of the delectable eats on Instagram. Which inspired more active posting of my food photos on the platform from my home cooking to snapshots of dining experiences. And as I started posting more, I realized I wanted to share more about food to others. Photos are only a part of the experience. There was so much more I could engage with people about that also are passionate about the same topic I am: food.
So thanks for embarking on this new journey with me! Stay tuned to find recipes, restaurant reviews, snippets of life and more. I’m going to try to hold myself accountable to posting regularly, taking more food photos and trying new recipes all for the sake of you, my readers.
